The following text serves to inform you of how we process your personal information for purposes of our internet service.

WHEN DO WE PROCESS WHICH PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process your personal information in the following instances:

a.  If you visit our website, information will automatically be sent to our website server from the browser used on your end device. This information is stored temporarily in a so-called log-file. The following information is recorded without any action from you and saved until automatic deletion:

IP address of the requesting computer,

 Date and time of access,

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which the access occurs (referrer URL),
  • Browser used, and possibly your computer's operating system and the name of your access provider.

Furthermore, when you visit our website we uses cookies and analysis services. You can learn more in the section "Analysis Tools".

b. For a service request we offer you the opportunity to contact us through a contact form provided on the website. You are required to fill out the fields provided so that we know who the request is from and how to process the feedback.

c. If you would like to send us an application for an advertised job posting or of your own accord, we will process the documents and personal information that you provide to us.

  • For applications, including initiative applications, that you send to personalabteilungnoSpam@noSpamstenflex.com, we require your name, address and other contact info, data of birth, place of birth and nationality, and papers that verify your qualifications. You may also voluntarily send other data to us that you feel would be beneficial to consideration for employment.

d. On our page we offer you the opportunity to register. The data provided for this registration that are apparent from the fields in the registration form will solely be retrieved and stored to manage your account. On our page we also save your IP address as well as the data and time of your registration.

e. Registration for our newsletter – we retrieve your email address when you sign up for our newsletter.

 

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

We solely use the data that you actively share with us for the respectively agreed purpose and only to the extent required.

a. We process the specified data for the following purposes:

  • To ensure a smooth connection establishment of the website,
  • To ensure comfortable usage of our website,
  • To evaluate system security and stability, and
  • For other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the processing of data is Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our justified interest stems from the above listed purposes for data retrieval. In no instance will we use the retrieved data to identify you as an individual.

b.  Data processing for purposes of a service request with us occurs on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b) GDPR, in turn based on a pre-contract measure. If a contract comes to be, the data will be integrated into our customer management system. The data will not be processed for any other purposes.

c.  The data processing serves to justify and conduct an employment relationship as per Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG. Upon a positive decision, the personal information will be integrated into our personnel file and will pursue "employee management" objectives.

d. If you are registered with us, we use your data to manage your account, and in the event that a third party misuses your data and registers on our website with this data without your knowledge, to protect ourselves as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

e.  If you have provided your explicit consent as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a) GDPR, we will use your email address to regularly send you our newsletter.

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your information is not forwarded to third parties for purposes other than those listed.

We only provide your personal information to third parties if:

  • You have expressed your explicit consent as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR,
  • Such provision is required as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overwhelming, justified, defendable interest in the non-forwarding of your information,
  • There is a legal obligation to forward your information in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. c GDPR, and
  • This is legally permissible and required to entertain contract relationships with you as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Data is only sent to third countries if you have provided us with your consent to this end.

 

Duration of storage of the personal information

a)  Cookies are stored in your browser as so-called session cookies, meaning that your browser will delete them after you leave the website. In this case the duration of the storage period depends on the technical functionality of your browser.

b) Personal information provided to us in relation to a service request on our website will only be stored for the duration of the processing period for the request. If a contract comes to pass, the information you provide can generally be stored in our customer management system for 10 years if there is no other legal obligation that compels us to store it for a longer period of time.

c)  In the event of the following circumstances the retrieved personal information will be:

a. Cancellation: stored for at least three months. In turn the maximum storage duration is six months.

b. Suspension: our storage periods apply. The information concerning you will be provided to you in the event of suspension.

d)  Personal information disclosed to us in relation to registration on our website will only be stored for as long as the account exists. Because a contract came to pass beforehand, the information you have provided will generally be stored in our customer management system for 10 years if there is no other legal obligation that compels us to store it for a longer period of time.

e)  We will store the personal information you have disclosed until revocation.

We note that we will delete your information if we are not permitted to store it (especially if the information is inaccurate and correction is not possible). Instead of being deleted it will be blocked if there are legal or objective circumstances that prevent deletion (such as special retention obligations due to commercial and fiscal regulations).

RIGHT TO OBJECTION

If your personal information is processed on the basis of justified interests as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right as per Art. 21 GDPR to appeal the processing of your personal information for reasons stemming from your particular situation, or if the appeal is against direct advertising. In the latter instance you have a general right to appeal that we will implement without you having to disclose a particular situation. If you would like to exercise your right of revocation or objection, you need only send an email to datenschutz@stenflex.com 

RIGHT TO DISCLOSURE, CORRECTION, DELETION, LIMITATION

The affected person has the right to disclosure of their respective personal information as well as to the correction or deletion thereof, as well as limitation of the processing. They also have a right to appeal the processing. 

RIGHT TO TRANSFERABILITY OF DATA

The affected person has the right to the transferability of data.

RIGHT TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

You have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. 

PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

You have no legal obligation to provide personal information. If you have opened a customer account, that is the information you have provided.

AUTOMATIED DECISION MAKING INCLUDING PROFILING

Under certain circumstances there may be automated profiling with the objective of evaluating personal aspects. We implement these profiling measures in the following instances:

Because of legal and regulatory stipulations we are obligated to combat money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and crimes that jeopardise assets. Evaluations of data are also conducted to this end (such as comparison with legally stipulated lists).

Analysis TOOLS

We use cookies on this website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our page. Cookies do not harm your end device, do not contain any viruses, Trojan horses or other malware.

The cookie stores information created in relation to the specific end device that you are using. However, this does not mean that they directly identify you to us.

When you visit our website again these cookies allow us to automatically detect that you have visited us before. These cookies are automatically deleted after a certain period of time.

The data processed by cookies are required for the aforementioned purposes to protect our justified interests as well as those of third parties as per Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR.

a) Tracking-Tools

The tracking measures listed below and implemented by us are conducted on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. With the tracking measures that we use we wish to ensure an as-needed design and continuous optimisation of our website. We also utilise the tracking measures to statistically record the usage of our website and to evaluate it so that we may optimise our service for you. These interests are justified in accordance with the aforementioned regulation.

      I.        Google Analytics

For purposes of as-needed design and continuous optimisation of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereafter "Google"). In this regard pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see item 4) are used. The information about your usage of this website created by the cookie, such as

  •  Browser type/version,
  •  Operating system used,
  •  Referrer URL (the site previously visited),
  •  Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  •  Time of server request,

is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate usage of the website, to compile reports of website activities, and to render other services associated with website usage and internet usage for purposes of market research and as-needed design of these webpages. This information is also forwarded to third parties if such is legally required or if third parties are ordered to process this information. Your IP address will never be consolidated with other data by Google. The IP addresses are anonymised so that allocation to an individual is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies via a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we note that in this instance you may not be able to completely use all functions of this website.

Data SECURITY

When you visit the website we use the common SSL procedure (secure socket layer) in conjunction with the respectively highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is generally a 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256 bit encryption, we utilise 128 bit v3 technology. You can tell if a certain page of our internet presence is encrypted by the uniform appearance of a key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against random or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological advancement.

VALIDITY And ALTERATION OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy is currently valid and was updated in April 2018.

The further development of our website and offers provided through it, or changed legal or official regulations, may necessitate changes to this privacy policy. You can always find and print the respectively current privacy policy on the website.
